About us

We are a social promotion association based in Copertino, in the province of Lecce.

We tell traditions, stories, and people. We do so with the idea that these elements carry value beyond the place they come from, and we shape each project so it can reach those who are not from here, in its language, its form, and its purpose.

What we do stems from the need to represent a place and the way it is lived. From this starting point, we develop projects with a clear identity, designed to endure over time.

We are not interested in quantity. We care that everything we create has a reason to exist and a form that respects it. An idea has value if it can stand the test of time, if it can be applied or replicated without losing its integrity, and if it remains with those who encounter it.

Our symbol

The phoenix that represents us has a tail composed of nine leaves. The five larger ones refer to the current casali of Copertino, while the four smaller ones represent those that have disappeared over time.

The choice of the leaf, instead of the traditional flame, is not incidental. It expresses a connection to place that is not static but dynamic, capable of renewing itself while remaining true to its identity.

The phoenix is a symbol of rebirth, renewal, movement, and strength. We chose it because it brings together, in a single image, what we are. It is an identity that holds both what remains and what has been lost, while continuing to look forward without losing sight of where it comes from.

With the territory, for the territory

Our work develops through ongoing dialogue with the Region, municipalities, and local organizations. The promotion of Salento is the thread that connects our projects.

This is not a matter of labeling. It is an operational choice. Every project starts here, involves local resources and expertise, and generates value within the territory. Even when the scope expands and a project takes on a national dimension, the point of origin remains the same.

We work with institutional partners who recognize culture and territorial promotion as long-term investments, not as short-term budget items.

The itineraries

The two active itineraries share the same approach, but open in different directions.

The Saint is a spiritual route that spans multiple Italian regions, built around the life of Saint Joseph of Copertino. It is a national project that originates from a single town. In this case, its territorial identity lies in its origin, not in its distance.

57 Towers connects the coastal watchtowers of Salento, for those who walk, run, cycle, or explore. It is a route designed to give continuity to the coastline and to transform often overlooked structures into meaningful reference points within a broader experience.

Audiovisual productions

Our audiovisual work moves between documentaries and short films, with an approach that prioritizes authenticity and uniqueness. What usually remains outside the frame is what we choose to place at the center.

We do not treat the territory as a backdrop. We represent it through those who live it, shape it, and give it meaning through their work or their presence. It is within the memory of a place that its deepest value is found.

Events

The association also develops events and activities open to the public.

Lucio ’80 is an entertainment event that brings together music, participation, and a collective dimension within a recognizable format. It is composed of different performance segments that coexist and support one another.

The Culture of Giving Initiative is a charitable sports activity. The sport may vary, but participation always takes place through the donation of specified goods, which are then redistributed by associations to people in need.

These formats are designed to be moved and adapted across different contexts, while maintaining coherence, solidity, and recognizability.
